Farmhouse Finds: French Market Baskets and Linen Towels ...

Hi Friends ~ I hope your summer is going well. Today I'm sharing two accessories that have added more of that authentic farmhouse feel and function to our home, and why I love them...

French Market Baskets are beautiful and make me dream of collecting treasures at a provincial flea market... or fresh-baked baguettes from the bakery... or beautiful bouquets from a charming roadside stand.

...Or pretty much any dreamy pastime! :)

But, French Market Baskets are not only dreamy, they are also very useful! Take them to the beach, to a farmer's market, on an overnight getaway, or use them around the house for a beautiful storage option. You'll be surprised just how often you use them!

Once you use linen towels in the kitchen, it's hard to go back! I love their texture and their beauty. And, linen seems to get better with age. With three growing boys at home, I spend a lot of time in the kitchen, and linen towels make even the cleanup just a bit more enjoyable. (They are great for drying hands!)

Here are some towels I have, along with some that I have my eye on...

What are some of your favorite farmhouse finds? Isn't it fun when you discover something that

incorporates a design you love and it functions well in your home?!

Hope you have a beautiful, blessed day!

Thank you so much for stopping by.

  2. The linen towels are gorgeous. Can you tell me if they can be bleached? I get berry and other kinds of stains on my towels.

    1. Hi ~ I've never bleached mine, and would probably not have the nerve to unless the stains were really bad. :) Maybe start with a couple for hand-drying and drying dishes and see what you think. I think you'll love them! So happy you stopped by. Hope you have a great week!
